      escape before it catches you — it
      follows your trail and speeds up over time. Use the loops to juke it, and grab a rare hidden tool: a mask to slip past the monster, a stick of TNT that blasts the walls around it, or a shovel that digs a reusable tunnel across the maze.
      Each monster has a personality — named up top, so learn how it hunts.
